Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye Mourns with Constituents at Funeral and One-Week Observation

Demonstrating his unwavering commitment to standing with his constituents in both moments of joy and sorrow, the Member of Parliament for Bantama constituency Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, together with the Bantama Constituency leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), joined grieving families and community members today Thursday to honour the memories of two departed loved ones.

The delegation first attended the final funeral rites of the late Prophet John Sarfo Kantanka at Ohwim-Amanfrom, where they commiserated with the bereaved family and offered words of comfort and encouragement during their moment of grief.

Hon. Asenso-Boakye later proceeded to Bronikrom to join Madam Shirley Osei Tutu, a Polling Station Executive, her family, friends and sympathizers at the one-week observation of her late mother, Obaapenin Esther Gyamfi.

Speaking through his presence and interactions with the bereaved families, Hon. Asenso-Boakye reaffirmed the importance of compassion, unity and solidarity, emphasizing that true leadership extends beyond development projects to standing with the people during life's most difficult moments.

As the saying goes, "Death is not the end of a life well lived; it is the beginning of a legacy that lives on in the hearts of those whose lives were touched." The lives of the departed will continue to inspire those they left behind, while their memories remain cherished by their families, friends and communities.

The Bantama Constituency leadership extended its heartfelt condolences to both bereaved families and prayed for God's strength and comfort to sustain them during this period of mourning.

May the souls of the faithful departed rest in perfect peace.
