Chairman Kingsley Attah Donates Streetlights to Islamic Senior High School.

Bantama NPP Chairman, Chairman Kingsley Attah, has donated streetlights to the Islamic Senior High School as part of efforts to support the safety, security and general wellbeing of students and the school community.

He was accompanied by the constituency Executives, Coordinators and Polling Station executives.

The donation forms part of Chairman Kingsley Attah’s commitment to responding to practical concerns within the Bantama Constituency and supporting institutions that play a critical role in the development of young people.

Speaking on the initiative, Chairman Kingsley Attah emphasized that providing adequate lighting around schools is not merely an infrastructural intervention but also an important contribution to creating a safer and more conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Proper lighting around school premises can improve visibility after dark, enhance security, support students and staff who may remain on campus beyond regular school hours, and help reduce the risk of accidents and other safety concerns. It also contributes to a more welcoming environment for school activities and community engagement.

The initiative also reflects the broader commitment of the Member of Parliament for Bantama, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, to addressing the social and developmental concerns of schools across the constituency.

Hon. Asenso-Boakye has consistently demonstrated interest in educational infrastructure and the welfare of students, teachers and school communities. The objective is to ensure that schools within Bantama receive attention not only in the area of academic development but also in relation to their broader social, safety and infrastructural needs.

Chairman Kingsley Attah noted that effective leadership must remain connected to the everyday concerns of the people. He therefore reaffirmed his commitment to engaging institutions, school authorities, teachers, students and other stakeholders to identify practical challenges and work towards solutions within available resources.

The donation to Islamic Senior High School therefore goes beyond the provision of streetlights. It represents a shared commitment to creating safer educational spaces and supporting the conditions necessary for students to learn, develop and achieve their aspirations.
